Welcome to Hamilton Mill Women’s Health Specialists, our professional, friendly staff is dedicated to providing OB/GYN care with personal attention to each and every one of our patients. We are your partner throughout pregnancy and other women’s healthcare issues, with a mission to provide compassionate and state-of-the-art health services to women of all ages. Women’s health is our expertise, the total well-being of each patient is our personal interest and priority. From Prenatal Care to Surgical Procedures, our staff will walk you through the process with care.

As a smaller, private women’s healthcare practice, we’re able to provide the individual attention and personal care we believe in. We are always here for you when you need us, now located in Flowery Branch, near Dacula, Buford, Gainesville, and Hamilton Mill, easily accessible from I-85 and I-985.

Alan P. Gerber, MD   F.A.C.O.G

Born in Washington, D.C., Dr. Gerber grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, attended Emory University and received a BS in Biology in 1977. He attended medical school at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA, where he received his MD degree in 1982. Dr. Gerber then went on to do his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Dr. Gerber practiced in Maryland for 21 years before moving to Atlanta in 2007, where he has since been practicing at Hamilton Mill Women's Health Specialists.

He treats normal and high-risk Obstetric patients  along with minimally invasive Gynecological surgery, as well as helping patients with problems related to urinary incontinence, pelvic floor issues, and menopausal problems.

Dr. Gerber and his wife love spending time with their seven children and five grandchildren, and also enjoy traveling and sailing.

Kim Kobetich, FNP-RN

Kim is originally from Indiana.  Kim and her family moved to Georgia 8 years ago.  She graduated from Indiana University with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2003, and has worked bedside as a Labor and Delivery Nurse ever since.

Kim recently went back to school and earned her Master's of Science in Nursing as a Family NursePractitioner from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega.

Kim has a genuine love for her patients and thrives on getting to know each one individually...
